Our story

Ten years on Royal Street

In 2016, Guy's & St Thomas' turned an empty nursery opposite the hospital into a home for healthtech founders. The idea was simple: put people with ideas across the road from the clinicians and patients who'd use them. Companies like DrDoctor, ZOE and Thalamos have worked from these desks.

Ten years on, it's grown into a network. Healthtech founders work alongside clinicians, NHS teams, researchers and community changemakers, and find the introductions, advice and partners that move their work forward. And we're part of something bigger: owned by Guy's & St Thomas' Foundation and part of SC1 London, Waterloo's growing health and life sciences district.
