Tuning in to Dementia: Music, Memory and Daily Living

This event will deliver Memory Tracks' findings from their recent study into the impact of memorable songs connected to daily tasks to help those living with cognitive impairment, such as dementia. The event will offer provide a brief summary of this study as well as an opportunity for discussion and networking.

Memory Tracks is a care platform that links songs to tasks that need to be carried out during the day by people living with dementia. It provides a personalised selection of music tailored to an individual’s routine, their family, carers and needs. The Research is supported by funding from CREST (Consortium for Research Excellence, Support and Training) and the research team includes academics from University for The Creative Arts, Glyndwr University and Manchester Metropolitan University working with Memory Tracks and Pendine Park Care Organisation.
