In this talk, Gabriela Pricop and Alexander Clayhills-Henderson from https://www.angelsden.com, one of the largest startup funding platforms in the UK, will cover common mistakes start ups make when writing a pitch deck or an investment deck and how those could be avoided.
Angels Den is sector agnostic when it comes to deals that they look at. They look for a strong founding team with a product ready to go or already deployed. The company is approved by the FCA (UK Financial Conduct Authority) and has a very strong reputation in the global startup scene, winning the Global Award 2015 for best crowdfunding firm by Finance Monthly, as well as Winner of the Award of the Best UK Start-Up Facilitation firm in 2015 by AI Business Excellence.
As an Entrepreneur Relations Associate, speaker Gabriela has spent the past year working closely with entrepreneurs, helping them to shape the way they pitch their business idea in order to make it more compelling to investors and maximise their chances of obtaining funding. Prior to joining Angels Den, Gabriela was a Project and Event Manager for Shokkin International Group, an organisation aimed at improving the quality of youth work in Europe by providing an exchange platform for tools and expertise, which has fostered her passion for bringing people together in order to achieve a positive impact.
Alexander currently works as the Head of Entrepreneur Relations at Angels Den. Given his passion for supporting entrepreneurs and early-stage businesses, he puts a lot of effort in selecting the best deals and connecting them with the most suitable investors that could add the most value.
Lunch will be provided.
